I try to do something a little bit different...
Organ concerts can be innovative and electrifying events.
I play several concerts each year, sometimes alone and sometimes with my collaborator Matthew Schultz. We perform as an organ and trumpet duo, or as an organ / organ-piano duo (where a second instrument can be managed). Our aim in these concerts is to present interesting music with a high degree of audience engagement -- which can mean the sort of participation that involves playing percussion instruments, clapping along, and even singing parts of pieces.
For my solo concerts I aim to provide a stimulating range of music, including but not limited to the standard organ repertoire and slightly more unconventional music.
